Alka Jangid
PhD Research Scholar [PMRF]
Welcome to my homepage. I am Alka Jangid, a PhD student in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
Current Research Work
I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. under the guidance of Dr. Nilesh Badwe and Dr. Sudhanshu Shekhar Singh.
In my PhD work, I am trying to suppress the fatigue-driven abnormal grain growth in nanocrystalline nickel through GB solute segregation by using electrodeposition processing technique.
Background
I obtained M.Tech. degree from Department of Materials Science Program, IIT Kanpur and B.Tech. degree from Metallurgical and Materials Engineering department, NIT Jaipur.
I did my B.Tech. project on “Plasma nitriding and characterization of Al-Cr-Fe-Ni high entropy alloy, mild steel, and stainless steel”. My M.Tech. project was on “Modeling and simulation of supercapacitors”.
